Lyn is our hostess today and she has challenged us to make a front flap card. Now this is a fun fold that I can handle. And it was cute and fun for a graduation card for my cousin's son. He's graduating from Old Rochester Regional High School--rival school to Apponequet (my high school)--so it pained me to use these colors. Yesterday, I was playing Gambler with my kids. Did anyone else have that board game? It's an oldie. My kids have been having so much fun playing old board games. Anyway, Raleigh had two twenties in his hand and said "look, Mom, 2020!" Duh! Of course! How perfect for a graduation card! Thanks, Raleigh.
I've discovered that I love this Avery Elle stamp set that has the big "happy" and little label style stamps of pretty much every possible holiday/occasion. I stamped the "Graduation" repeatedly for a fun but masculine background. Then I stamped flying grad caps for the front panel. I folded the twenties and taped them up with washi tape. Then I popped the sentiment panel in front of it. This graduation cap die cut is leftover from my scrapbooking days and from when I graduated from college 17 years ago.

Great story behind the awesome grad card! Is anyone having a graduation this year?! The boy next door, the fourth boy, just graduated from UC at Charlotte. The kids he met formed a train of cars and came down the cul de sac peeping their horns! Such fun....
Waiting to hear when my grandson is graduation.....
