This card is for Chrissy - to bring a smile and sunshine into her life.
I am definitely a member of Team Cat - even though I have had special little dogs in my life before. Once you own a cat - you will always be a cat person.
So Cats it is.
C - Cute Critters
A - Cat ATTITUDE
T - Tails and oh what Tales they could tell too
S - Very Snarky Cats
The background is another Distress Oxide Background made by inking up a small acrylic block with ink, misting it and then smooching the ink around on card and drying it before adding the next colour - carrying on till you are happy with the colour combination.
The cats were stamped and coloured and fussy cut. In the process of fussy cutting the whiskers had to come off so I used Misti to stamp the images again on the backround and placing the fussy cut cats on the card so that the Kitties would have their whiskers and fur back in place - an they were happy again -I think.
I added some foliage to the background with distress inks and Lavinia Stamps. Doodled around the edges - need more practice at this and then added the sentiments.
It doesn't show in the picture - but the kitties have very sparkly golden eyes and the background is a deeper shade of aqua blues.
Again - these cards are going to take so long to arrive going on the mail at the moment.
Hope you enjoy.

Wow, wow, wow! Helen your cards scream "inky fun" and this is no exception. I love every itty bitty inch of this, the background, doodled border, crazy cats and such funny sentiments - this card has it all.

Ditto to what Susie said, on both counts. That background is super, it would make a great underwater scene. Love the cats, so much nicer than the Crazy Cats, who all look scared to me. These look much more fun, and remind me a lot of the Kliban cats.
