This was way too much work, but I am pleased with the outcome. I tried 3 other backgrounds before this that didn't work for me. I stamped the image, then drew in the lines for the checkerboard with a drafting pen and colored it all in with art markers. The hardest part was keeping track of what was a stem and what was the edge of a square! Any sentiment would have to go on the inside!

This is a wonderful representation of Hundertwasser's work...WOW! The brightly colored flowers are so pretty against the checkerboard bg. I can see where it would be difficult to distinguish between the stems and the squares...you did a great job Faith. It was well worth the effort. ;)
