I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Jacqueline is our hostess and she has chosen a delightful theme called, "Team Dogs or Team Cats."
Since we have 4 cats it was easy to make a cat card. Our mother cat is queen of our house so that is why I have titled this card the way I have.
I inked up the paw print embossing folder with soft sky ink, then ran it through the big shot. This makes the raised paw prints appear lighter and more pronounced. I added clear wink of stella to each of the raised paw prints, then set this panel aside to dry.
The large cat was stamped 6 times with black ink to get a good impression. Then die cut the oval panel using a stitched oval die. Layered this over a black loopy edge die. The Meow comes from the same cat set and that was stamped in soft sky ink. Meow is for hello on this card.
I had so much fun making this card for this week's recipient. I have experienced what our recipient is going through so I know how painful and difficult it is, but she is doing in during a pandemic. Wow! I wish her all the best as she goes through the recovery process.
Thank you Jacqueline for this wonderful challenge, and thank you for looking! ~Karen.

Oh my goodness, this is so adorable, Karen. Love this stamp set you used. Your cat fits perfectly in the oval shape. I bet those shimmery paw prints really add to this wonderful-ness irl. Something soothing about the soft sky you used with the black. Yes, ha, meow can mean hello!

Love that kitty image! Your EF background is so fun, the perfect contrast to those great oval frames! Fabulous card!
