For today's fun sketch, I am finally using this cute Sassy Cheryl digi to bulk up my birthday stash. As usual, I chose to make two cards at once. I dug through my box of DP and found two different papers that I like which took me in two different directions. I like them both equally so I wanted to share both. With summer coming, even though all the fireworks are sadly canceled, I couldn't resist this cute flag DP. Grabbed a blue polka dot DP from my scraps drawer to go with it and some red ribbon. I burnished the boy to give him some more shape and popped him up on foam squares. The one on the right needed a more distressed look, so I distressed the edges of the small piece of kraft that I had stamped with polka dots and I also ran a brown brush over the image to tone him down. I was excited for the way the sentiment that I chose fit perfectly at the top of that one.

These cards are just adorable. What fun they are, and great to have in your stash for a little boy!

Great cards. Love how different they are using the same image and same layout. The one with the flag background is my favorite and will hopefully work for a July birthday even if there are no parades etc.

Two great cards. Super cute. Cannot pick a fav. Love 'em both. As you do, I try to make two cards while I'm making one. Easy to do while everything is out. Terrific take on the sketch. Thanks for creating with the Sketch Challenge!

Come to our home - there will be plenty of fireworks in our neighborhood lol! There's 3 of us that set them off! Your cards are so cute and I love the explosion of color (and patriotism)!
