This card is for the F Alpha challenge....F = Face, Flowers and feeling fabulous.
I always knew I wanted to use this stamp for the F challenge. I have been reading about creating collages in a book I purchased and saw one made with papers. Much more beautiful and challenging than this, but it inspired me to try something out.
The BG was created using TH distress inks...lots of sponging and elbow grease.
After stamping the face onto patterned text paper, I fussy cut the flowers out of more patterned paper in my stash. Thanks to my alpha ladies for giving me ideas on the colours during an online craft meet. I wanted this sassy lady to have lots of flowers in her hair.
After fussy cutting them out of the paper I simply layered them on her head. That's when my friends suggested she needed lippy and eye shadow...this lady already has a rose tattooed on one eye....so out come the zigs and she's looking pretty smart.
I decided to do some stamping of butterflies on the BG which didn't quite come out great....that's me being lazy and not using my Misti, so I had to extend one side of her hair LOL. The butterfly is out of my stash but was sent to me by a friend on this site, Helen (Helekins). Bling and wink of Stella added and done.
The quote was off the net.
TFL. Happy day

Fantastic F card! I love this Sassy Lady...she is so engaging! What a collage masterpiece Jayne. You've inspired me, now I want to make a Sassy Lady too. I suppose I could draw a face and add embellishments. Might be the project for me today! Hugs

Wowsers Jayne! This is so artsy and really creative too! I absolutely love what you have done to frame this wonderful face with all of these flowers. This is so creative, and dare I say, regal too. I am super impressed with this Jayne. What a delight it was meeting you on the zoom meeting yesterday! ~Karen.
