Happy Monday, all! New week, new TLC, new challenging that gray matter. Mine was definitely massaged with Jean's (jkanack) Wreath Stamping!
I had a wee bit of retail therapy last week with a new to me rubber stamp company 'BeesWax'. I found them on Etsy. Not that I am enabling or anything!
My dreaming little girl was one of the stamps I couldn't resist. And so the focal of my dream wreath.
I'm guessing you can guess what she is dreaming of. The Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut butterflies form my wreath. I used AI backgrounds from my stash to cut the flutterbys. Note regarding the Graphic 'plastic' which is marvelous for the AI product, but not so for the thinlet dies. The outer cuts were made with a thicker sandwich, but not all the fluttery inners. The one that does have it fully cut was AI on YUPO.
I added the sentiment at the top to complete my circle. It was one of those, has to be choices. I embossed the star with the 'Super Fine Gold' and the hearts in the 'Crusade' eps.
The corners were rounded and the base purple cs was roughed up pretty well. Makes me think of my rough edges and how I can polish them. I rather like the look. There is an easel back (thanks to a generous gift from my neighbor, ArtzadoniStudio).
Can't wait to go pursue the gallery! And just a note...the garden has captured me. I'll be creating there...I have two new bigger rebuild opportunities this season. Thanks for stopping by.

That's interesting - I've cut some stencils from the Grafix and they seemed to cut OK. Your butterflies are a wonderful pairing with the winged sleeper, and are just beautiful.

A fantastic take on wreath building. I almost added an exclamation point just now but didn't want to disturb this beautiful dreamer and dream. The edges are a wonderful touch emphasising the movement of your arty-awesome buterflies.

Anyhoo, back to your glorious looking card....Such a sweet stamp. Love the distressing and beautiful AI butterflies!

One of the special things I love about your art Susan, are the comments your beutiful, unique work attracts. I am now sitting here picturing Shirl admiring your gorgeous card and listening to beautiful music. I'm sitting here enjoying a morning coffee AND enjoying your wonderful interpretation of a wreath.

I love your dreaming wreath. What a sweet image and personally I like the flutterby with the innies still in. It's an interesting look. All your fluttery winged flies are pretty in their mix of colors. Great work oR ~
