House mouse image stamped in Memento Black ink. Coloured with copic markers. Die cut the image. Matted with a scalloped oval and then a plain oval. Sponged the edges of the kraft ovals with close to cocoa ink. Used a gold metalic pen on the larger kraft oval edge. I had made the green patterned paper a little while ago, using glossy photo paper. I dragged my old olive ink pad down the card stock and then the opposite way to make a checkered design. I cut a strip of that paper and used a piece of plaid card stock. Using the sketch I created the bottom panel Sewed around the edge. Punched out some corners with kraft cardstock. Sponged the edges. Folded the corners in half and sponged down the centers. Attached to the cornersl with white mini brads. Popped up the adorable HM image. Added the sentiment. Finished the inside of my card.

Beautiful checkered background. I must get back to using this technique. The central image is so cute - the mouse almost looks like a rose hip. Love your square take on the sketch.

Looks like our teacups ended up side-by-side today, Pat. Time for a tea party, I guess.
I am such a huge House-Mouse fan, and I love all the awesome detailing you have done with the embossed framing, the stitched framing, and the fabulous photo corners on the right! So perfect with these pretty papers!
