This is my sample for CC790. Stef is our hostess and she chose flirty flamingo, crushed curry and rich razzleberry for her color trio. Dessert Option is die cuts.
For my card I used a new CottageCutz die - Gardening Tomte. I cut all the images in the challenge colors + a few neutrals. To get the varying shades of crushed curry in the flower pot and his hat, I used Stampin'-Up designer paper from the "color theory" collection.
I placed him in an outdoor scene that was easily created with this new designer paper from Divinity Designs. It's part of their landscapes pack. The piece I used was a good match for crushed curry-going from light to dark.
I stamped my hello sentiment in a cloud cut in crushed curry cardstock. I added a few flirty flamingo enamel dots to complete the card.
This is a Mother's Day card for a friend. That greeting will be on the card inside. Hope you can join us this week. We have some great colors for card making.
Also entering this in this month's DD central theme of rise up, eyes up. When you look up you see clouds.
Also for the DD Word Play: R - rich razzleberry I - ink S - sprinkling can E - enamel dots

You had me at "tomte," Mary! A new word to me! A gnome by any other name is still going to cause me to fall in love with him! What a cute, cute scene you've created! Love this!

Really? I can believe this is Color Theory but the way you have used to to create a sense of light coming through your clouds is just amazing! This gnomelike wizard is just a adorable in this lovely setting.
