Used black watercolor paper for the base of the image panel. Gave it washes of watercolors mixed with gouache. When dry, spattered with white ink. The star was made by a one drop of white ink and then pulling out the rays with a fine stylus.

Gorgeous galaxy background, Sallie! I thought of you when I posted this challenge--I was thinking about what people could do if they didn't have any alien or rocket stamps (which I suspected you did not). I knew you'd be able to make an awesome space scene and you did not disappoint :0)
