This bookmark was inspired whilst taking a walk last week with DH. We live near the coast and were heading towards home and I was taken aback by the colours in the sun and around the clouds. It was wonderful and DH was telling me that I was seeing things differently to him due to my sunnies. He was also telling me not to look directly into the sun.
I was saying can't you see the greys in the clouds and the blues and the mauve and purples and oooh look now the sun is outlined in pink. I was ooh'ing and aah'ing all the way towards home. I just couldn't take my eyes off it and knew that I wanted to capture it somehow. When we turned the corner to home, I was watching someone go towards their car and all I could see was a shape in purple/mauve. It took some time for my eyes to adjust.
When I turned around and took my sunnies off the colours had changed again.
This bookmark doesn't do it justice and as DH says my clouds are very regular LOL but hey it's the only cloud stamp I could find. It's my interpretation and of something that I know my mind will remember for a long time.
I will use this bookmark in my album on 2020 and these very strange times. It's the simple things that I am finding are the most wonderful. I also now wish I had taken time to stay for the sunset...I imagine it would have been quite spectacular.
The colours are quite light in this photo but the purple stands out IRL.
TFL. Happy day and keep well

You had me at "the colours in the sun". Jayne I can so clearly picture what you were looking at. Your bookmark is a wonderful interpretation. Stay safe my west coast Aussie mate.

I understand how you were inspired by the images you saw watching the sun, you've represented this very well with your spotlight image in the clouds, beautiful tag/bookmark

Wonderful Jayne! I find when I have my sunnies on, I see different colors too! Ha, well at least you can tell they are clouds. Tell that to your dh, lol.

Fun book mark, Jayne. You will always remember that sky now. I love the way you have done the lighting in it. Skies are so cool and I wish I had a good cloud stamp - clouds are the coolest. These are some strange times and seem to be getting stranger... all the conspiracy theories are starting to really get bad! Hugz
