Congratulations to Teresa aka AZTK, this week's featured stamper. I had faved this one: Umbrella Autumn by aztk at Splitcoaststampers
because I loved it back when she posted it, and had the same stamp, which had not seen ink till this day. Wasn't sure how to case but was perusing a mag and someone had splattered their card with H2O's, so that got my mojo going, which has been lacking lately. I embossed a piece of copic c.s. because it is not coated so takes the splatters better. Very messy and went all over plus my shirt. I set it aside to dry a bit, and spritzed my mat with more water to clean it up but also decided to swipe my w/c through and got the streaks which made me think of rain, which worked for my image. Painted in the image with H2O's.
My changes: portrait instead of landscape
square instead of round panel
splattered instead of woodgrain
colored with Twinkling H2O's instead of
markers.
Thank you Teresa for enabling me to finally get this image inked up. Enjoy your week!

Shirl, this is beautiful. I love your coloring on the image. Your streaks do look like rain falling. I can relate to getting splatters everywhere. LOL!

What a truly fabulous rainy day card this is Shirl, and such a great CASE too. I love your rain splattered background Shirl with the diagonal stripes. The stripes remind me of wind! You have done one of my all-time favorite techniques and that is when two or more people use the very same stamp set, then make a card with it, and oh how fun it is to see all the different card designs made with the same stamp set. I love colors you used on this image too. ~Karen.
