I was originally inspired by another picture and made a different card which I then realised was perfect for another challenge I am working on so that one was parked. However, I am extremely pleased I made this card as I am sending it to encourage a friend who moved away and is struggling. He went through with the move because he felt his children would benefit from a better quality of life and education but he is finding the change really tough.

Oh what a marvelous sentiment to help encourage your friend. The thought that popped into my mind immediately on seeing your card was that this had to be a take on the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The sweep of trailing vines is so serene and calming - I hope that's how it strikes you friend too.

Lovely card of encouragement, Janine. Love the shading on your weeping willow branches. Has such a crisp and clean appearance. Your friend will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I can sympathize with your friend. It was not easy to move from East coast to West coast, 3,000 miles away. Perfectly masculine, love your soft sponging in the different shades of green~

What a terrific card this is Janine, and so thoughtful of you to make and send this to your friend who is having trouble adjusting to a new life situation. Change is hard, but hopefully, this will work out well for him in the long run. Your sponging is beautiful and I know your friend will truly appreciate this thoughtful sentiment! ~Karen.
