This is my card for CYSAPR, Challenge Your Stash. Each month we make a card using only items from our stash. This month, Joyce (Ashjoy) has challenged us to make a card with flowers. As a couple of added bonuses, she has asked us to use a stamp we've never used before, and to send it to someone to let them know we're thinking of them. I get a perfect score today!
I've had this pretty floral stamp for over a year, I'm sure, and it's never been out of the package before today. I recently watched a video from Penny Black that shows how to color this kind of stamp with markers. A very interesting technique. I liked the results, more or less, but do not like the Arteza brush markers. I bought them a long time ago, and decided I should use them once or twice before I give them away.
This card is going to my daughter. She had some surgery yesterday, and I am planning to blitz her with cards until she's all better!

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery. I'm sure she'll treasure her cards! I love the dried flower look of this pretty card. And you've used one of my favorite sentiments. I also love the added interest of the assortment of gems in the corner! I have a Penny Black stamp that's this kind of style and I get terrible results with it. Maybe I should watch the video that you watched. Maybe I should find a video with that particular stamp.
