Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and her colors made me think of Christmas: Poppy Parade, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze. The dessert option this week is a frame of some sort.
I broke out this adorable set from My Favorite Things, Christmas sELFies for the first time. Yes, I bought it last fall, and never got around to using it! I stamped the image and colored with Copic markers. I included the neutral, Mossy Meadow, in addition to the challenge colors. I used a VersaMarker and Puffy White Embossing powder for the fur cuffs and Santa's eyebrows, and applied embossing paste with a toothpick for Santa's beard. I created my "Polaroid" photo, stamped the greeting at the bottom of the picture, and mounted it on a Mango Melody card decorated with silver snowflakes.
My first Christmas card for 2020, done! Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week. Most of all, stay well!

I love this card- never thought of Christmas - but you pulled it off very nicely- and your first card for that season is done in April. It would be fun to make some Christmas cards right about now!

I would have never thought of Christmas but you've made these colors work perfectly, Barbara! I love the selfie collection and your card with Santa, the elf and, of course Rudolph, is totally fabulous! The background is equally impressive! LOVE this!

Christmas - who would have thought? You did a wonderful job turning these colors into a Christmas card! And this stamp set is one of my favorites. You've inspired me to start my cards early this year!

Barbara, this Christmas card is So Cute! I love it! The mango bg is the perfect color to make your image show up so well. I like the embossed snowflakes on it.
