Card for the 2020 February Christmas Card challenge, Tone-On-Tone.
The inked and embossed background panel, and the Santa image, were both gifted to me (I think by Art Deco Diva? Karen--correct me if I'm wrong!). I decided that the EF panel would be perfect for a February card!
I colored the Santa image (if anyone knows what company makes this, please let me know!) with colored pencils, adding a bit of white gel pen to Santa's eyes and to the berries on his hat. When that dried, I added Glossy Accents to the berries to make them stand out a bit. I also added white glitter WOS to his hat trim and pompom, and some clear glitter WOS here and there in his beard. Trust me, the image looks much better in real life!
I fussy-cut Santa out, & popped him up on the card with some dimensionals. Also popped up the sentiment after stamping & fussy-cutting a banner on one end. TFL!

What a gorgeous vintage Christmas card this is Liz. I would never have put these 2 pieces together the way you did, and they work brilliantly. Your coloring and fussy cutting is fantastic too. You finished this beautiful card off with the perfect sentiment. You are correct Liz, the embossed panel and Santa were from me. The Santa is PSX (Personal Stamp Exchange) from the 1990's and the embossed panel is from an old Cuttlebug folder. You took those items and ran with them Liz! ~Karen.
