Thank you, I:m glad you find the page interesting. This trail is in my community, Sayward, BC, Canada. It is on the east coast of Vancouver Island, which is off the west coast of BC. The HKusam Trail was developed about 15 years ago. There is an international mountain run event there on the Saturday closest to the logest day of the year. Fast mountain runners do the thing in 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Most people take 5 to 8 hours.
