Tried to make a plaid bg with an embossing folder. Took a striped folder and ran it through once vertical and again horizontal. It is so hard to see in the Pic, but it looks like textured plaid. Then used a white gel pen to make lines. Using a softball digi from etsy that I purchased to make a photo of this catcher for my granddaughter. I printed a 8x10 to frame for her room. The original digi is multiple colors of spattered paint, changed it to be her school colors. This spring has been so disappointing for athletes from all schools. Everything has been canceled. Hoping for some summer ball. TFL

I love your card, Linda! You are so right when you say everything has been cancelled. My grandson was suppose to graduate heading into high school but it’s not happening....Your plaid looks terrific with the catcher in the same colors! Well done...

What a cool image and so thoughtful of you to make her a framed picture too. Love the colors and that plaid bg you made. A great experiment, Linda. I do feel bad for young athletes who are missing memories. War, natural disasters, and illnesses like Corona have a much bigger impact than people realize. Hugz

Your background plaid is just fabulous, Linda. Your Brynn is sure to love this card for her room....so personal and so special. Yes, so sad for so many this year...who would have dreamed of such a calamity?

Clever how you used your embossing folder and the white lines make a great addition to your "plaid design." Love how you did the figure! Excellent work.
