I have a large collection of vintage ladies handkerchiefs and have been looking for something to do with them during this stay at home period, and I came across some ideas for a pew baby.
A pew baby is a handkerchief made into a little baby for children to play with quietly while in church, and if dropped, it makes no noise. There are many variations online. This one, with a built-in little bonnet, some SU chalk for cheeks, and .01 pen for little eyes, is mine.

This is adorable, Kandie! What a sweet little pew baby! It reminds me of how my grandpa (I think) would entertain me in church with folding his handkerchief in some pattern where it would look like two babies in a hammock (or something like that) and you could rock the hammock. I haven't thought of that in ages. Adorable baby!
