This is my first card for this week's Alphabet Challenge letter D. My D is for dress.
I used last week's sketch for my card as well as last week's color challenge. For some texture, I stamped the Petal Pink and Mint Macaron color strips with polka dots from the Timeless Texture Stamp set. I then stamped the card base with the floral/flourish stamp from Timeless Texture. I decided leaving it white was a little too much contrast, so I soft sponged So Saffron over that stamping for a soft background.
I stamped the happy couple on white card stock and matted that with a very thin mat of black. I did minimal coloring on the couple and added Wink of Stella to her veil to finish.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, this is such a lovely wedding card Catherine. It is both playful (with the polka dots) and elegant with the touches of black. I so admire how you find creative ways to use the Timeless Textures stamp set Catherine. You have inspired me to look at mine in a new way because I love how you have used it on this beautiful wedding card. ~Karen.

Wonderful contemporary wedding card. Love how you did the strips with the dots from that set. This makes me want to get that set out to play with. Love your background too with the stamp from that set!
