I made this for Cathy's challenge: "What...No Stamping!"
I created several alcohol ink backgrounds and chose this one to create a "sun" card. I used dies to cut the sun's rays, adding sequins to the center. I tied a black cord around alcohol panel. I die cut the word sunshine into a die cut banner and put black behind it, adding a bit of glitter and some black lines.
I forgot about no stamping at the end and added the little "sending a bit of" to card, gluing it down or I could have peeled it off, but I'm sure it would have left a mark on the bg. LOL

Oh wow wow wow..this is my sort of card. This beauty is sure to brighten up anyone’s day. You are making me want to get my alcohol inks out. It looks as though it’s got lots of texture. Did you use paste before the inks? Love it all and fav’d. TFS. Happy day

Gracie, this is really gorgeous! I could honestly look at this all day. I would never think to add a sun in this manner and it is so striking and really showcases the colors in your background so beautifully. The banner, sentiment and card base all add to the sunny feeling of this fantastic card! You really ran with this challenge Gracie- how fun! ~Karen.
