CC788 Tulip
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: janemom

This card was made for the Color Challenge today. I did some die cut inlaying to make the tulip. It was die cut in white for the outline, then in black for the background pieces. Berry Burst was used for the darker tulip petals and a retired cs similar to Powder Pink for the lighter petals. For the lime color, I sponged the leaves in Twisted Citron Distress ink. The long retired sentiment has a space between the two sentences, so I filled it with a piece of Berry Burst Washi tape.

This is so striking! The inlaid technique is so pretty here - very graphic and bold. I love how you used the white for the outline and the black for the background.

Oh this is striking, Jane with the beautiful inlaid tulip. The black background makes it standout. Like the added strip of ribbon to bring it altogether . TFS

Love the inlaid die cut, Jane, as well as these pretty colors on the black background and the way you split the sentiment using the washi tape! Very pretty card design!
