For Lyn's bleach challenge, which I like the look but always afraid I will get a spot of bleach on my clothes. I got a set of these flower heads from a thrift store a long while ago and thought I would try this. My bleach is concentrated so I just poured a tiny bit in a glass and added a little water. Heat embossed my image and use a Q-Tip to bleach the areas. I don't think I got any on me, lol. Thank goodness and thanks for looking.

How lovely, and perfect use for that gorgeous DP. I worry more about getting extra drips of bleach where I don't want them on the card! Beautiful die for the sentiment.

What a stunning card this is Shirl. I love your heat embossed lily and the softness the bleaching adds to this flower. I would never think to do this technique on a flower like this so thank you for the great inspiration. I love the colors of this card, the delicate stitched panels and the touch of designer paper peeking out too. You have made a fantastic card here and I am very happy to read the bleach stayed on the card and did not get on you too. ~Karen.

Beautiful card. Love the image and you picked all the perfect layers. That adorable banner die is the perfect touch. And, I am terrified of using bleach!
