Firstly the Tea Pot Party - for Katherine who is fighting a battle with all things medical at the moment. I chose to make this Magical scene of all things beautiful, cheerful and happy.
I also put this card in the MIX Challenge - titled Vacation Time. I thought this would be just about the only place left in the world that we could all travel to safely. A magical land of happiness, colour and whimsical characters. Hope you can all join in this vacation with me.
The background was made using Distress Oxide inks wiped on a small acrylic block and then smooched around on card. Dryng between colours. The Fairy House was stamped with Brilliance ink and embossd. Coloured with water colour pencils and then fussy cut. The foliage around the edges was stamped using Destress inks and Versa Fine Clair inks. There is a lot of added sparkle in the way of glitter glue, gel glitter pens and liquid pearls.
Hope you enjoy.

I love fairies but here my attention was drawn rather to that inquisitive rabbit stretching up to take in the scene above him. The house is pure fun and the leafy border adds an intrigue all it's own.
