Lisa, thank you for hosting this weeks heartbreaking Teaparty brought to us by Pat. We are sending Teapotter hugs to Katherine, a young mum battling Stage 4 inoperable Neuroblastoma.
I hope this cutie putootie brings a smile, she is coloured with Prismacolour pencils (no pencil blending or Zest it this time), but as always I have gently wiped a walnut stain distress ink foam pad over the image before fussy cutting. This adds an ever so slight aged look and removes the bright white areas.
The background is from my stash - squirt Dylusion ink spray on to aluminium foil, squirt on water and dunk cardstock in inky puddle. At a guess it looks like I cleaned a sunray stencil off in the right hand corner and used up some left over modeling paste on the left side.
Fussy cutting is my all time favourite technique, especially as I use copy paper! I only applied a glue stick down the centre of her head and body, so the hat and sides sit up a bit.
Thank you for looking, I hope you are safe and if able, I hope you can stay at home.

Such a very happy little cutie with a lovely smile. Love her eye lashes! I hated wearing a hat as a kid but if I had this floral one it might have been a different story. What a really feel good card. Katherine will just love this too.
