Collectively there are about 9 different stash backgrounds in this collage. I was inspired by a group I joined on Facebook called Rediscovering Your Creativity by Carolyn Dube. I don't follow a lot of her ideas but this morning, Nicky Bates posted a piece like this. I pretty much followed her plan, using backgrounds I had and I followed her layout pretty much verbatim. I used some ai, some gel prints with coffee and baking soda, some brayer off papers, some ai with hand sanitizer (yes, I have hand sanitizer but I made that print long ago) and chlorophyl print from tulips that I did yesterday that was a fail. Too much liquid in those tulips. This was more fun than I can say. Oh the sentiment came from a free magazine I picked up in LaCrosse, WI when I visited my daughter's family. It was a magazine about the Driftless area of WI, MN and IA, which is an area that the glacier missed.

That is so gorgeous, amazing. I'd love to be able to step into the scene. It almost looks like a crater lake. I especially like those flowers. What an outstanding collage piece.

oh fav'd before this comment! So, so much to love about how you artfully combined all those BG's to make a scene. Before I had brought your photo into full view, my first thought was NEW ZELAND!
I am heeding your instructions and slowing down to catch all that is this delightful card. Way to go, EJ.
