For our Dueling Darlings April kit, Deb sent us a kit with the Theme- "It's Spring in Texas", as the bluebonnets are in bloom right now. I am sure that is a sight to behold! I fussy cut the blooms to make it a Teapot Tuesday card and will sent it off to hopefully put a smile on someone's face : )

This is so pretty Shelly! I love your wonderfully bold blue bonnet (I would love to see them blooming myself!), and I love how this bloom pops against your wonderfully textured and layered background. The little blue bonnet stamp is just precious. I have a painting in my house that has an American Indian saying on it about wildflowers that says, "May your life be like a wildflower...growing freely in the beauty and joy of each new day." Your card represents that beautifully and I know Katherine will love it! Hugs! ~Karen.

Beautiful card. The dark blue and white (love this die) really add a wonderful background for that beautiful blue bonnet. I am sure it will make Katerine smile.

Your die cut looks great as a backdrop for the lovely Bluebonnet. I might have to hunt down that image. It's a lovely big one. Your card highlights it in the most appealing way!

I'd love to see bluebonnets in real life. From cards I see, they always remind me of lupins but I have no idea if they are related. The white trellis background is super with them - and that beautiful textured ribbon.
