What a fun and easy TLC this week. Thank you, Sabrina, I followed your directions exactly and couldn't be more pleased! I have to say I came home from work last night and made 4 backgrounds from one sprinkle of three shades of Brushos and a couple of spritzes of water. I chose the most vibrant panel to create this graffiti.
&d sent me a photo of this phone booth in New York that was tagged with this sentiment. I knew it would make a thought provoking card. Just had to figure out how to 'translate'. I used an Architect font from Ma Vinci's Reliquary (no longer in business). That is what took the majority of my time. Mounted the words onto black cs and colored the background in a medium gray Copic. I highlighted the letters that seemed most important.
My graffiti loving' Dali is poised in a playful poise. Doesn't he look dapper?
I know we're all 'bout to go stir crazy or already off the ledge, but I am excited to see so many, many people all across this country (and the world) pulling together to help as able. I pray this continues once we are 'allowed' to hug in public...that next person who comes within my social distance circle better watch out!!!
Thanks for leaving a comment...I'd love to hear how you are feeling...

Great looking card! All my Elvis stamps, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey, etc all came from Viva Las Vegas! Are they still in business? Love how you changed the greeting. Love Dali! I have a few books on him and saw some of his works in Toledo, Spain. Another well done card,Susan!

Gosh, it must have taken you forever to typeset that great sentiment! I was looking at a font set of stamps recently and told myself no, I don't even use the couple that I have. Great sentiment and Dali is perfect there. Love the bling - could be a cufflink, couldn't it.

I'm missing the hugs, too....

Wow, this is just my favorite in the gallery today. That sentiment is one that I had to write in my little journal of sayings I keep by my computer. I just love finding these little bits of wisdom and you are always sharing some gems. It's always a good day in the gallery if one of your creations pops up!!!
