For today's TLC challenge, which you can find HERE.
This is a somewhat random card. I started the media plate print part a couple of weeks ago - Antique Linen DOX brayered onto the plate and allowed to dry. Then white acrylic brayered over thinly and stamped onto the card. I left the round media plate in my stamp positioner so that I could do more - and it's been in the way of other stamping ever since. So yesterday I inked up the agapanthus, stamped it onto the plate and then pressed it onto the card. What to do next? I hadn't been thinking that far ahead, it was just a messing-around thing. But apart from the agapanthus, it looked like a moon. So I masked it with a circle cut from clear Frisket, and sponged chipped sapphire and wilted violet DOX over. Then I spritzed some bubble wrap with water, laid it on the card, used my 6" acrylic block for a little weight and left it for a few minutes before removing the wrap. With the mask still in place I stamped a treeline along the bottom, and spattered some gold Twinkling H2Os. I cut it with a square die and edged with a gold leafing pen.
The owl was stamped on white card, coloured with pencils, fussy-cut and popped up on foam. DH thought it should be smaller, I thought it should be larger. But it's one of the few flying owls I have, so it is the size it is. That's that.

Your night scene is so pretty with the bubble wrap lifted background, the moon and the fun owl complete this scene perfectly, very pretty, I can hear owls calling by night and your card made me think maybe they're looking for their little ones...

Very rich and interesting background, true to Sabrina form. Lots of depth and I really like the blacks and grays mixed with the blue. Your little owl looks so surprised that you caught him in your sight. Wonderful!
