Color My Heart Color Dare #389 - "Seas the Day" Tic-Tac-Toe. I chose the colors on the center vertical column: Mink, Peach, and Smoothie. I also included balloons that included three other colors from the color choices: Mint, Canary, and Sage. http://colormyheartcolordare.blogspo...day-color.html
With the sketch, theme and colors specified, all it took was a little digging into my digital cutting files before I found this cute little bunny baby from Design Bundles Amazing Craft Bundle I purchased last year. I sized her to fit the bottom part of the card where the sketch suggested circles arranged almost identical to how the bunny is positioned! For the top circles, I used my Stampin' Up! (SU) "Balloon Celebration" set which I stamped first in black, then used Versamark to stamp the shading inside each balloon. This shading was then dusted with clear embossing powder and heat set.
The sentiment was created on my ScanNCut CM350 using two parts of the Srikandy font downloaded from DaFont.com. I used the peach and smoothie colors stacked on top of a white background.
The card base is the Smoothie color, while the pattern background containing the shades of Smoothie and Canary.
By far the most difficult step in making this Easter card was assembling the little bunny baby. I sponged the Mink color on her for shading, but gluing her together took meticulous card. For this reason, I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "4" out of a possible "5". The rest of the card was much easier!
I think my Grand-daughters will love this sweet card when I give it to them along with the sweet butterfly hair bows I made from floral faux leather!
