Another card for Toni's Purple WTUI challenge. Needed a quick Easter card to pop in the mail to a friend who lives alone. I embossed the tulips, applied Versamark to the flowers and rubbed on chalk, repeated for stems and leaves. I wanted a stitched look to the panel, but don't have a die that's large enough. Improvised with the dotted square die. I die cut half the panel, flipped to the uncut end, aligned the dots and die cut a rectangle. Layered over a lavender panel and finished with ribbon corners and die cut butterflies. TFL

I'm sure happy mail is extra welcome these days for anyone on their own. You did a great job applying the colour to the dry-embossing, I always smudge it. The little butterflies are so sweet - they almost look like tissue.

This is so pretty Carla. I just love this wonderful field of purple tulips and I know your friend will too. The ribbon treatment is really lovely and so is the faux stitching you added to the card. ~Karen.

Your friend will so appreciate and admire this lovely Easter card, Carla. The embossed butterflies have the look of tissue paper in the photo which really makes them seem to flit about. Like how yu colored the tulips randomly. A wonderful card. Happy Easter!

Love the gingham ribbon diagonal corner treatment...perfect clean purple additions, along with purple bitty butterflies, for your sweet little purple tulip garden.
