I made this card for this week's Alphabet challenge for the letters B and Z. The B's in this card are for the bold colors, the blue ink and blue cardstock, and the Z is for the zig zag design created by the chevron stamp.
I actually saw this card design on Pinterest. That card was done in black and white with an accent of red, but I was more in a blue mood today. I stamped the white cardstock with suede shoes blue ink using the chevron background stamp. Then die cut the frame by cutting into the stamped cardstock using 2 different sizes of rectangle dies. Added fun foam behind the wider frame.
Took a piece of white cardstock that was just slightly smaller than the size of the chevron piece, placed all of the chevron panels on top, and stamped the shoes in blue ink and the sentiment in yellow. Colored the shoes using blue ink and a blender pen. Cut a yellow mat to go behind the chevron panel to tie in with the yellow sentiment and mounted to a blue card base.
This card was really quite fun to make and challenged me with this fun letter combination. I am going to give this to our mailman who is working so hard during all of this virus stuff.
Ann, thank you for this wonderful challenge and thank you for looking today. ~Karen.

I love this bold color combo, Karen. Great job on the Alphabet Challenge. I like your dimension and layering. That is a great card for your postman, and so sweet of you. I have been thinking of putting one out for ours, too. This gives me some ideas. TFS

Your colored shoes look awesome, just like your sentiment says. Love this in blue and yellow-a winning combo any day. The bold chevron pattern is wonderful! What a neat card for your mailman!

Oh my goodness Karen!! I love this card! It is so perfect for a teenage boy, and if you colored the shoes a different color, could be for a girl. I love this, and just so you know, it is going into my fave file!!!
