I wasn't sure at first what stamp(s) I could use for this challenge. After much deliberation, I finally decided on the "Mondo Magnolia."
I stamped the flower on a panel of watercolor paper with Vintage Photo. I used a damp paintbrush to spread the color some, and brought in Milled Lavender (applied with a damp paintbrush) for some added shading. I masked the flower, & inked the background with 3 different green Distress inks. I don't know if that keeps with the "vintage/monochrome" look, but I couldn't leave it just blank. I removed the mask, and added water droplets to the background. For that, I used my paintbrush and just kind of dropped the water on, to keep it off the flower. I let those sit a bit, then picked up the water/ink with a dry cloth.
I heat embossed the greeting in white, kind of snugged in next to the flower. I didn't like all the space at the bottom (I'd cut the watercolor to full A2 size), so I cut some off with the "A2 Curved Edge" die. Finally, I added my panel to a white card base.
