It was the perfect opportunity to spend the morning browsing through the envelopes of stamps I picked-up at the National Postage Museum on our trip to Washington DC last year. I chose them not by theme, but because they all had shades of brown.
My vintage Mailman stamp seemed like the perfect accent (and he is making the same face I see on my Postal Carrier husband as he goes out to deliver his mail route each day).
I finished with a poem I wrote with sticker sentiments ... I started to frame them so they stood out more, but decided I really liked how they sort of fade into the vintage dictionary page background (I love that my tiny dictionary is perfectly card sized).

Stef, how cool is this. How cool your hubby works for the postal service (giant thanks and hugz to him), and I wish I had a bunch of old stamps like this. Wonderful case and wonderful card! Hugz
