After a conversation yesterday about lending books and the borrowers not returning them, I was inspired to make a second card for Sue's fun Covered book cover inspired Tickle a Teapotter challenge. But this one will go to my sister. She loaned me a book which she had read on Kindle and loved, so bought a hard copy. After reading (and returning) her hard copy, I bought myself one.
The main piece is left from when Melody featured fossil stone in a VSN a while back, so it's some sort of inks on glossy paper. I stamped the cat directly on it, then added a few sprigs of grass. I could have left it as it was, but opted for adding the birds too.
Edged the piece carefully with brown. The next layer is regular white card embossed with the Darice cherry blossom ef and sponged lightly with antique linen. Also edged carefully with brown. I added a green grass border before adding the image panel and putting it on a white base.

At first I couldn't see the kitty, but then I figured it out!! How sneaky of you! I love the card though and really love the kitty.

What a wonderful card this is and one that reminds me that spring is near. I sure enjoyed seeing your kitty exploring her yard while the birds are chirping away. The flower-embossed background is purrfect on this card too- cats and flowers just go together. Fun! ~Karen.

This is terrific Sabrina. What a perfect way to use that fun stamp. I lent a friend a cook book last month and before she took it, she got me to take a photo on my phone of her holding the book. We are all in lockdown so I won't get it back in a hurry, but at least I know who has it LOL.

your back ground makes me think vintage and my goodness your cat reminds me of those 3-D things people put out saying find the cat, or faces as when look one way not see then look other you find--a really neat and sweet card for anyone to get tickled with.
