Today's challenge is bubble backgrounds. My kids love this! I actually used a leftover background from the time that we did it for VSN. The kids still ask all the time if we can do it again, so I guess we'll have to do it now that I've run out of these backgrounds in my stash. My mom asked for a "If friends were flowers, I'd pick you" card for her friend in Kansas. I enjoyed the Power Poppy digi that I used yesterday so much that I decided to use this one of just the single flower today. Perfect for Stacy's single bud/bloom challenge. I used my ScanNCut to cut the flower and sentiment and then needed something else to finish the card, so I flicked some grass up from the bottom of the panel and drew in a black gel pen border around it. Also needed some shimmer and shine, so I added Wink of Stella and Stickles.

Go you! It was actually seeing some of the great VSN cards that encouraged me to give this another go because the last time I had tried it I was distinctly underwhelmed with the results. At least it was quick for you this morning - but something you can do with the boys another morning while they're off school! Lovely happy card.

Super fun and great bubble background. I like how you flicked the grass upward. Your card sure looks like spring.
