My card for Jen's (Jennifrann) VSN challenge, Friendship's Garden. My garden has attracted a large butterfly, who is looking for a friend!
Stamped the butterfly on patterned vellum with the Brilliance Moonlight White then heat embossed with the Verdigris EP. Colored the back with the water color pencils & blended with blending pens, then fussy-cut the butterfly out.
Stamped the sentiment on the Cream CS with the Vintage Sepia, then fussy-cut that out. Lightly blended Distress old paper ink over the sentiment. Added some WOS to the quote marks.
Cut angled panels from the cream and mint rose-textured CS (that CS is so gorgeous IRL!) & adhered to the light tan textured panel. Added the lace strip.
Popped the butterfly & the sentiment up with dimensionals.
TFL!

What a beautiful card this is Liz! This large butterfly is so elegant and looks right at home with the gorgeous papers you used! What a wonderful sentiment you have used and the touch of lace is the perfect finishing touch! ~Karen.
