I have a bouquet of tulips in my living room right now. Can't get enough of them. Would you believe, Holland, MI Tulip Time has been cancelled for this year?????? First time in their 90 some year history, didn't even cancel during WWII. I was actually thinking of going to visit my brother in Holland at that time, haven't been to Tulip Time in years. It's a crazy time for the residents but people come by the bus loads and train loads. So sad....
I used another ai background with hand sanitizer on a gel plate, this one is also a secondary print on mm paper. I love this Carabelle stamp and I thought a simple Welkom!!!! would be all it needed. Thanks, Anita! The tulips will still bloom, even if only residents see them.

Cute card! I liked the Tulip Festival. I was their as a child and we have a ton of photographs. Wish it was closer. I think I would appreciate it more as an adult than I did as a child. I live on the other side of the state and should probably go to it sometime in the future. I'm sorry to hear it's canceled this year but not surprised.

I went to Keukenhof 2 years ago now and I loved to visit this beautiful park, but it's the same all over the world in every park and garden...so sad, but it's what you say flowers keep blooming and birds keep singing, that's what we notice the most in the silence here!! Beautiful card I love Carabella stamps!!

i luv your tulips and am sad about the tears. i saw on-line all the destroyed tulips and it is, along with so much else, heartbreaking. your card is a lovely ode to this. take care
