A just for fun card. I had made the dolphin piece some time last week - cut from white card, coloured the dolphins with pencils and used a piece of thin acetate to smoosh DOX on for the sea. I layered silver behind the little fish, and today I used a red Stardust pen to help them stand out more. The bottom of the sea was embossed with D'vine Swirl and highlighted with Stickles.
I'd been struggling to find a background, nothing that I had was working. But I made some coffee filter prints last Saturday (for my MIXed Forsythia card), and as Dina says in her great TUTORIAL, the coffee filters can be used in their own right as well as the prints made on photo paper. So I have several filters as well as the rest of my backgrounds, and I thought one of those would work with the dolphins. I scrunched it up before sticking it to the background panel, and then lightly swiped it with Versamark and embossed with silver EP. The sentiment is an SU die, cut from silver card. The dolphins are popped up on foam. Somewhere I have some narrow metallic washi tape which I wanted to use to edge the piece, but I couldn't find it so I settled for silver Stickles instead.

What a stunning card! You did capture the true essence of those dolphins. And the coffee filter bg is lovely. Isn’t it cool to have some of the very first EF’s. Divine swirl is a classic! Your Stickled edge is a neat touch and probably easier than Washi in the long haul.
I love dolphins...when we had a scattering of ashes in the sound of my Daddy and Mimi, the dolphins swam alongside the quaint wooden boat we had hired. A most wonderful day.

This is such a WOW card Sabrina! I absolutely love these dolphins and how you created this fantastic background behind the dolphins. All the gold looks shimmery and gives one the feeling of wetness or water. How fun! ~Karen.
