I had great fun making this. For the poppies, I misted an old sheet of music with Brusho acrylic mist in Scarlet. When dry, I stamped the poppies and fussy-cut them. I used poppy seeds from my spice cupboard for the centres. I did stamp some of the leaves that go with them, but on the busy background they were too small and just got lost. So I die-cut some frondy leaves from scraps of Bazzill and one of my tomato paste tubes. There's some torn corrugated card and distressed cheesecloth tucked under them. The background is alcohol inks on Yupo, with some gilding flakes burnished on while the ink was still tacky. I added some sequin, and drew a frame around to finish it off. SOme of the poppies are popped up on foam.
Verve Poppy Birthday, music sprayed with Brusho Acrylic Mist, stamped in black, fussy-cut. Poppyseeds for centres.
Background - alcohol inks on Yupo, with some foil pressed on while still wet. Sequins, some crimped kraft card swiped with white, and some cheesecloth frayed. Edged with a black pen. Sizzix (Susan's Garden) foliage cut from green paper and tomato paste tube.

Bright, bold and beautiful card, Sabrina. Love the poppy seeds as the poppy center!! Beautiful bg and extra textures from the stems and cheesecloth. Thanks for the beautiful sample for my challenge.
