I started by digging through my scrap containers for every piece that seemed like it could fit with the color combo. Then I stamped the small tropical flower (it came in a set I bought at a used craft stuff store, no idea who made it -- if anyone recognizes it let me know! It was lime green rubber but unmounted, and there was a gigantic floral cluster and word ALOHA plus some leaves and such.) in black ink on the various scraps and cut out the flowers with an Xacto knife.
I wasn't sure what layout to use so I went with a sketch I found on Pinterest. I cut two strips from solid pink and peachy-melon papers and attached to the card, then added the flowers, popping up a couple with foam tape. Added a strip of pattern paper on the other side, and stamped the sentiment. I couldn't decide if I should add glitter glue or some kind of gems to flower centers or maybe some sequins--thoughts?
TFL!
Tagged USEIT2020 because I kept my vow of going to the scrap bin instead of always starting giant new pieces of paper, and because I've had the Aloha stamp set for several years and had only used it once before.

Love this design with all the vertical elements, including the sentiment, and the lovely strip of patterned paper on the right side!
Your card is very pretty just as it is, but if you want to add some bling, gems or jewels might look great in your flower centers.

Beautiful! Good for you going to the scraps first. I try to do that, too. I like your vertical lines with the paper strips and sentiment. The flowers are so pretty. Great job with the challenge colors. Love it all. TFS
