Since today's teapot recipient is a man, I wanted to keep this in more of a CAS style.
Using a negative mask, I sponged in the moon then added bit more Universe around it with a larger circle with a combination of Peony & Poppy. Stamped the bamboo in Olive, then over stamped with fine lines of burnt sienna on some of the leaves & stems. The "Chop" is part of the sentiment from SU Asian Art set. Finished by wrapping my piece with heavy duty button thread and double framed in black & goldenrod.
A Big Thank you to Michael for his kindness and caring support of those in need!

Ah - at first from the thumb I thought this was going to be the lovely SU stamp with a bird. Love the double colours on the bamboo (and they do come in some amazing colours. We once visited a bamboo park in the south of France - the variety was quite amazing). I love the double circles with the moon and the reverse masking.
