I had never heard of doing this, although as I did a little searching, I discovered that Lydia had done a video a while back and I saw a very beautiful card of Karen's. Isn't that cool?
I would say it takes a bit of experimentation to get a good result. Things I learned: stamps with not much detail, let the milk soak into the paper a bit before ironing, don't move your iron around at first, and keep ironing longer than you think you should. The paper will scorch but that just adds to the look. I used a wood stamp for the trees and added two more trees in between with some rose gold Lumiere paint. To give it some depth and dimension, I used some masking paper to create some ground on the bottom and also edge. The base of the card also has some masked areas, two skeleton leaves and a wonderful sentiment from Saint Theresa.
My son in law's Mom is the choral director at North Dakota State and she is posting music from her choir on Facebook. If interested, you can go to YouTube to listen, just search NDSU. This morning she posted a piece named All Works of Love with text by Saint Theresa. It's gorgeous and uplifting.

Great job, Jean. I was pleased with my results too, but NOT the cleaning of my iron afterwards. Oh well.......live and learn. I love your trees, the sentiment, and the torn edge!

Trees - what a great choice of stamp Jean. And a lovely sentiment. Do you think people are smiling more at each other now? I do, although having said that I'm not out except for work and what shopping I need -fresh stuff mostly as our dry goods are always well stocked. Lovely use of the skeleton leaves to complement the bare trees.

Fav’d immediately. So much loveliness here, Jean. The starkness of the seasons displayed in the trees and leaves...but just as that beautiful quote, spring will burst forth bringing warmth and wellness.
Thank you for all the additional tips. Can’t wait to dive into this one...later
