I made this card for this week's Alphabet Challenge for the letter N. The N is this card is the navy cardstock and markers used.
Stamped the basket and colored with copic markers. The flower in back is also stamped directly onto the white panel. The 3 front flowers and leaves are stamped onto scratch cardstock, colored with copic markers and die cut out, then adhered into place with Tombo glue.
Used a PostIt note to section off the bottom portion of the image panel, then sponged with Tim Holtz inks. Used a gray marker and a ruler to draw some lines at the top of the sponging.
This was a really fun card to make so thank you Ann for this great challenge and thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

I love those shades of blue in flowers...like the blue poppies, and the Alpine gentian (which also grows in one unique area over in the west here). Wonderful colouring...and of the barrel, too.

Your copic coloring looks glorious. I love the basket of flowers and really love your idea to mask an area and sponge and then accent with a line. Love the gradient effect you did as well. So many good ideas to learn from you, my friend!

This is a beautiful card! I love the blue, beautifully colored flowers and basket! Doesn't stitching make so much difference around the edge of a panel! It just ties the parts together so nicely.

Karen, love this basket of beautiful blue flowers! Your coloring is gorgeous. The sponged area beneath the basket is perfect, too. Lovely sentiment for this pretty card!
