For the Alpha W challenge. Some call these "Wellies", I believe in some parts of the world. This is my attempt at trying smooshing on acetate. Here is a link to the one I saw:
I embossed my boots in blue e.p., then applied my minis, one at a time to a piece of acetate and spritzed with water and dabbed it on the w/c paper. I went back to check the video and she sprayed her w/c paper as well. I didn't do that only because I was not paying close attention in my first viewing, lol.
Anyways, this apparently gives one more control of where you want your color to be. I did not know what I was doing, lol....but it was splashing good fun to try for my first attempt and I will try this technique again. tfl

Oh, I just love this card with these delightful wellies. This reminds me of my chidhood when we could hardly wait to put our wellies on and go splashing in some mud puddles. It was great fun for a farm girl. I will take the flowered pair on this card please. You did a wonderful job of ink smooshing Shirl because I love all the colors you achieved here. I also loved reading you had a splashing good time making this charming card. ~Karen.
