This card is being sent with much love and prayers to my cousin. Her husband had a massive heart attack and at 45, she is a widow with two young children.
I started with a stash gelato bg I wasn't happy with. I masked the moon and blended darker blues and greens to create a pond and sky. Sponged on inks to add light to the moon and darken the sky. Die cut the panel and cattails and lilypads from black. Mounted on a dark blue cardbase and finished with a double die cut sentiment.

so sad for the occasion to need a sympathy card, but Carla...what a beautiful card. It feels like loving arms
on the edge of your water and moon. I had to keep scrolling up as there is such beauty in your work.
Prayers and hugs
