Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Seaside Spray, with the dessert option of Washi Tape.
I am getting ready for a bobbin lace workshop this weekend, and left my card for the last minute. So this is probably the quickest card I've ever made. Still, I kinda like it! I used Daffodil Delight as my first layer on the sunflowers, then Calypso Coral. I used the neutrals of Early Espresso for the flower centers, and Mossy Meadow for the leaves, stamped off once for the lighter color. My frame is cut from Seaside Spray cardstock, with a layer of wide Washi tape under. See those pretty rhinestones? You'd never know there's a green ink smudge under them (I hope!).
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
