I used the same stamp set she did, but I also used some of the sea grass and seagulls from the set. She stayed monochromatic, but I added in a bit of tan (tea stain).
My case is in my bible - Psalm 46 - God is our refuge. The Psalm starts out with: "God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though the water roars and foams and the mountains quake with its turmoil."
I made the mistake of watching too much coverage of the Corona virus this weekend - it will scare you and really get your blood pressure up. Then I went to a funeral of a very sweet man - my husband's uncle. This man helped so many people and was loved by many. When his widow hugged my neck, she whispered in my ear, "He was my heart." It broke my heart and has stayed with me.
When doing this page, I decided to focus on the more positive part of the psalm - "Come see the works of the Lord ... He makes wars cease throughout the earth..." Throughout all that is happening everywhere, I am with Gracie Hart - I really do want world peace.
Congrats, Faith! Hope you are enjoying your Featured Stamper time!

Such a peaceful scene Nancy. I am enjoying following your bible journalling. Sorry to hear of your Uncle’s passing. Yes, the virus is scary. It is all doom and gloom here. TFS. Happy day

Nancy, this is BEAUTIFUL! SO SORRY, to hear about your husband's uncle & the loss his wife is experiencing. The Lord didn't promise us easy times in our fallen world. It would be so nice to have "world peace," but it won't come until Christ returns, since we do live in a fallen world. MARANATHA! You did a SUPER JOB in casing & I think it is MOST LOVINGLY DONE in your Journal! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! HUGS!!! ;)<3
