Quiltspiration is an AWESOME pinterest board and I will probably spend days going back to oogle more of those beautiful pieces of art. I Chose this quilt as my inspiration. First because it is my favorite color - inother words rainbow bright - and second because it made me think of an ancient Hero Arts stamp that hasn't seen ink or daylight in YEARS.
After a few "trial & errors", I inked this collage stamp with my Kaleidacolor Bouquet rainbow pad. The flower was rather dark & muddy so I stamped it again on scrap stock in worn lipstick then added some shading with prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. Sponged the edges of the "quilt block" with Worn Lipstick & Twisted Citroen then framed with the deeper hued Recollections dp.
My sister makes beautiful Quilts so I think this card will go tho her.

Like how you used the lovely inspiration piece to create this card. Your collage image looks terrific with the colors of the ink pad. Your bg paper looks awesome. TFS

How lovely, Linda! Your card is the perfect representation of your inspiration. (Sounds like the beginning of a speech, doesn't it?) I love the colors & your sis will adore this.
I was captivated by the same quilt. I can't wait to go back and make more cards from the inspiration in this pinboard! Your card is so striking! Beautiful colors and I love the vase!

I love this collage stamp and you've created such a beautiful palette with it, Linda. Makes me want to play with some of my forgotten collage stamps, too.
