I created this Quilted Creeper card for my young nephew who lost his Switch to a deadbeat dad...enough said. He misses the Minecraft game...and so here you go, Buddy!
I punched out squares with a punch...and layered them on a dark green layer. Then I ran it through with a embossing folder to make it meld into one layer. The "face" of the creeper was made with glitter washi tape and punches too.

Your nephew will surely love this quilt inspired card . . . .and now I wonder if the Quilt itself was originally inspired by the Minecraft game ? . . . as there is a lot of similarity.

Aww. I am not 100% sure what you said (my son and college friends still play Minecraft from time to time) but I don't really know what Switch is but I can gather that your nephew can't play the game and if my son would have been deprived of the game when he was younger he would have been beside himself. So I am very sorry for your nephew. I could tell the card was Minecraft before I even read your description! Such a cool card.

Cool, I love the unique direction you went...I actually never played Minecraft but I watch (listen) to videos of this very mellow guy playing it when I’m having trouble falling asleep, so I actually recognized the creeper!
